Bright and comfortable 65sqm two bedroom apartment located on the third floor with elevator in the central neighbourhood of Testaccio near the Tiber River. The historical centre and Trastevere can be reached on foot and only a few minutes by subway(line B) from the Rome city centre(stop Piramide). The living room is furnished with two comfortable armchairs, a couch, a round dining table for 4 people, a TV area and a fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a microwave oven and a dishwasher. The window of this room overlooks a delightful glimpse of the Tiber, since the building is located on the bank of the river.
At the end of the corridor is located a double bedroom with double bed and, next to it, a single bedroom with an extra hideaway bed and a desk positioned just below the window. The bathroom is fitted with stall shower and washing machine.
Testaccio is a characteristic neighbourhood of Rome, once a harbour receiving the products coming from the sea and nowadays an area rich in nightspots, shops, restaurants and discos. It is possible to reach easily by foot the neighbourhood of Trastevere, the Aventino and the most important attractions of the historical center.

-Macro (Rome Contemporary Art Museum): located in the former slaughterhouse, since 2003 it has been hosting a range of outstanding cultural events, especially dedicated to young people. Here you also find the Architecture faculty of Roma Tre University and the School of Fine Arts
- IED, European Design Institute, in via Branca - one of the most important fashion and design schools in Rome
- Sant’Anselmo all’Aventino church, belonging to a Benedectine monastery; the church is famous for the Gregorian chants
- FAO Headquarters, in Viale Aventino (subway stop Circo Massimo)
- Circo Massimo, the Roman chariot racing stadium and the biggest venue of this type ever built
- Pyramid of Cestius, built in 12 b.C., close to Porta San Paolo
- Eataly, the famous ‘food-hall’ where to buy high-quality Italian products
Some of the services in the area: a pharmacy, some banks and a big post office, a Simply supermarket in Piazza Testaccio and a supermarket in Piazza di Santa Maria Liberatrice (open also on Sunday), a fitness centre with swimming pool, some music schools.
Nearby there are also two parks where to relax and practice sports (‘Parco della Resistenza dell’Otto Settembre’ and ‘Monte dei Cocci’).
In addition, in Via Galvani is the brand-new Testaccio street market (approx. 5000 sq.mt).
Various bus lines stop along the Tiber and in Via Mormorata. The closest metro stop, Piramide (line B) is at 700 meters.
