Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, at the heart of the commercial district

The Fiera area owes its name to the Fieramilanocity exhibition centre, which dates back to the opening of the Sempione Tunnel and the Universal Exposition. Together with the new Fieramilano fairgrounds in Rho-Pero, it hosts many fairs and international exhibition.

The ‘Fiera’ is therefore an area of high interest for those businessmen and tourists who look for a short term rental in a fast-growing part of Milan, sheltered by the hustle and bustle of the city centre but ideally at the heart of the city’s commercial district.

The Fiera district comprises two areas: the ‘Portello’, built in the 80’s and now home to the modern and highly functional headquarters of the Italian football team AC Milan, and ‘Citylife’, an ambitious urban redevelopment project covering an area of 366,000 sq.mt. ‘CityLife’ offers not only residential buildings, designed by the architects Libeskind and Zaha Hadid, but also offices (the Tre Torri), shopping centres and the third largest park in Milan (a pedestrian area of 170,000 sq.mt).

Well served by all means of public transport such as the trolley line, bus and metro (red line MM1, stops Amendola Fiera and Lotto Fiera; the brand-new purple line MM5, Lotto Fiera), as well as the train (Milano-Domodossola-Fiera station), you can easily get from this area to practically anywhere in the city.
