Vercelli-Sant’Agostino area: everything you need at a stone’s throw

If you are looking for a quality apartment near Milan city centre, the district around Corso Vercelli is the right choice.

Corso Vercelli is one of the best-known shopping streets in Milan, situated in a residential and calm district near Sempione park and Sant’Ambrogio Basilica.

Here you find practically every kind of shops without necessarily having to go to the city centre. In fact, the boutiques of important fashion designers are to be found here, as well as some large shopping malls, including the famous ‘La Rinascente’.

Corso Vercelli is served by a number of tram, bus and metro stops (red line MM1 Pagano, Wagner and Conciliazione) connecting to Piazza Duomo and Cadorna Station.

Piazza Sant’Agostino, located approx. 1 km from Corso Vercelli, is a refined, upper-middle class residential district, minutes from Viale Papiniano, where one of the most famous Milan’s street markets takes place, the University district centred on the Catholic University of Sacred Heart, and the Don Giussani Park. From here you can also easily reach the fashion and design district, around Via Tortona and Via Savona.

As far as the public transports are concerned, in Piazza Sant’Agostino there is a metro station (green subway line MM2, to Garibaldi, P.ta Genova and Centrale stations).
