A few steps from Rome’s main attractions, the largest railway station in Italy

The Termini station is located in a rather central area, a few steps away from Rome’s main attractions.

Not far away is Piazza della Repubblica, where you find the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli, designed by Michelangelo between 1563 and 1566, and built inside the Roman walls of the Baths of Diocletian.

Inside there is a particularity: the Meridian (sort of sundial that reports noon) that was drawn on the floor in 1703 per request of Clemente XI. Outside, in the square, is the Fontana delle Naiadi which was built in 1888.In the neighborhood you can also find the Fontana del Mosè (1587) by Domenico Fontana as well as one of the centers of the Polo Museale Nazionale Romano, offering a vast collection of Greek-Roman sculptures and an interesting numismatic section.

In Via Cavour, a stairway leads to Via delle Sette Sale and immediately after to the church of S. Pietro in Vincoli, famous for the statue of ‘Moses’ by Michelangelo and the mausoleum of Pope Giulio II. Once outside, you can continue along the Via Eudossiana to reach the Coliseum.Well served by all means of public transport, including the metro stops Termini, Repubblica-Teatro dell’Opera, Vittorio Emanuele and Cavour, the area is strategically close to the busy Termini railway station.

Therefore, this is a perfect place if you are looking for an apartment for rent in Rome, either for business or tourism.
